State of Ohio Budgeting Application

The Ohio Small Business Development Centers came to OmniSpear in need of a solution to minimize paperwork and centralize as well as standardize their internal budgeting and invoicing process.

Using an open-source framework and tools, OmniSpear developed a web-based application that handled the ever-changing, complex budgeting and invoicing guidelines set at both the state and federal level.

Web Application Highlights:

• Complex business rules with little to no margin for error
• Ability to handle budgets and invoices at multiple locations and role them all into one state budget
• Intelligent routing and notification of budget changes and additions
